BenchFFT compilation fails

I'm trying to build BenchFFT:

http://www.fftw.org/benchfft/

but the compilation fails.  I'm assuming at some point it worked.. with GNU or Intel compilers.  Any recommendations as to getting it working is greatly appreciated.
